Dexter - Gender Swapping

     Dexter, a TV series about Dexter, a secret serial killer working as blood specialist in police department, is an interesting TV show to analyze how the show would be if Gender swapping were happened. Gender swapping would definitely affect in relationships between men and women but change in genders also would affect in relationship between the people and social standings or something like relationships around the people gender swapped in some ways.
     Back to gender swapping in Dexter, it would be interesting to see gender swapping in Dexter and his sister Debra. Dexter is a main male character in this show, a serial killer and blood analyst and his sister Debra, also working in police department as a police officer. They are good brother and sister helping each other but his sister doesn't know that Dexter is a serial killer involving crime cases she is chasing as a police officer. In the case of Dexter, a male character is a psychopath killing people under the name of justice and a female character is a police officer who is chasing the serial killer, his brother, and I think gender swapping in them would be interesting because a female serial killer chased by her brother who is also police officer would probably be a new challenge. 
     I found it interesting to see gender swapping in this show because, as I said, that would be a new concept show that a female serial killer (I don't usually see the female character) involves a lot of crime cases her brother chases. In Dexter, Dexter involves a lot of crime scenes and dangerous situations but he solves most of problems by himself because he is able to solve them physically as a man. And also he involves a lot of romances with women as progressed and these girls are involved to his crimes because a relative to a man could easily be a target for enemies. But if a female character were a serial killer, then I guess entire concept of the show would be focused into more drama among relationship around a female character because if she dealt with other killers or victims, that would be a bit more harder for her to deal with these problems by herself so that it would be more drama in her human relationships. Dexter is a good show continued to 8 seasons successfully balancing dramas around him and crimes, however, if that would be her a serial killer, then it would be totally different type of TV show because of the change in genders.
     There is some obvious differences that men and women in certain situation could do or couldn't do. That could be stereo typing but in Media that exists. If Gender swapping is happened in any kind of show, that would be interesting in some ways to see the differences how people think about genders and how it actually change the situation and environment about them.
